Seven species of woodlice have been found in the south-eastern Belarus during studies conducted in 2013–2018. Two of these species were found in territory of the republic for the first time: Armadillidium vulgare (Latreille, 1804) (fam. Armadillidiidae) and Hyloniscus riparius (С. Koch, 1838) (fam. Trichoniscidae). Synanthropic forms represent a significant part of species diversity of this region’s terrestrial isopods fauna. Only one species, Trachelipus rathkii (Brandt, 1833) occurs in both anthropogenic as well as natural landscapes.
