The ephemeral floodplain riparian vegetation of the margins of the Simmi River (Amur River basin) is studied. It includes communities dominated by Lindernia procumbens. The taxonomic composition of the ephemeral floodplain riparian vegetation includes 33 species of vascular plants from 27 genera and 15 families. As in other low-water riparian floras of Amur, the families Cyperaceae, Asteraceae and Scrophulariaceae were the most diverse. The studied flora is characterized by a high proportion of obligate riparian marginal species (48.5%), about half of which have an East Asian range. It was found that obligate species have a higher occurrence and abundance than facultative ones. Ruderal and synanthropic species are absent in the ephemeral floodplain riparian flora of the reserve.
